why switch from the week long tourny setup to a 1 day thing??

I hear that Chad; we're just trying different formats to see which one works best.

Like K said its trying different formats. We will revisit to see which is better, but we had quite a bit of forfeits before, atleast this way we know the people who sign up are commited for the day and will be there to play without free passes.

I think the one day is better, the long drawn out week is a hassle. Everyone has a set time they HAVE to play..... if your not there, OH WELL

You guys are alllllll wrong.

The way they did it the first time, had NO set time, and that is the hard part, this system you got a SET time you HAVE to be there.....

there was a set time... each round had a day or 2 forgot what it was exactly..1 day ur forcing people to be on all day (if they keep winning) while the week format u only had to dedicate 1 hr at most...

here were the deadlines for the previous tournament

My only issue with the one week thing was its hard to say who was at fault if work schedule or what no conflicts. Atleast with the one day format, when you join you plan to set 5 hours or so aside in your sunday evening to play in the tourny. If there wern't so many forfeits before this wouldn't be an issue right now.
